A silk pillow is usually shaped squarely or rectangular.  There are three sizes in the US:  Standard (20×26 inches), Queen (20×30 inches), and King (20×36 inches).  This pillow is covered with a pillow case that you can remove.  The silk pillows cases has to be washed to keep the bedding fresh. Pillow cases used in other countries have a pocket inside the open end to hold the pillow.  In England, people use the Oxford Size pillow, which is 50cmx75cm (20×30 inches), while in other parts of Europe the Continental Size is used, which is 66cmx66cm (26×26 inches).
